Not being the sort to keep my sponging of board and lodging to just one couple, I also dropped in on Helen & Stuart in San Francisco. They proved to be most accommodating. Helen subsequently has told me that the lasting impression I left (the only one?) was that all the clocks in their house/cars now read the correct time instead of being a random collection of times from around the world. I don't know what this says about me. I didn't really know I had a habit of doing this but apparently so. Maybe I'm borderline autistic. Maybe so. Alright, less of the borderline perhaps.
Helen & Stuart had Chris, Holly, Brent & Dana over for dinner one night. Weird that Chris & Helen know a lot of the same folk (Seb, Davey, Steve) but had never met. Here's some snaps from the evening and also Halloween:
Stuart, Helen and son James along with an impressive cheese board.
Chris & Xavier (Brent & Dana's nipper); Holly & James. James is kindly letting Holly sniff BoBo the toy dog. That's nice. I think she likes it.
Brent with James and then with wife Dana. The op should sort out his dodgy spies.
Halloween is BIG in the States. Here's family Kibby getting dressed up to go to Stuart's boss's Halloween party. Stuart really didn't want to go. I can't blame him. I think Martha is a bug of some sort. SWEEEET. Not sure how it fitted into the Braveheart theme. Maybe she's a midge?
Martha & James in a giant clam at the Monterey aquarium. They had a baby great white shark in one of the tanks. Cooool. Love aquariums!
