Muttering nuttering

Don't know what it is about San Francisco but there are a lot of muttering nutters wandering the slopey streets, more than the average I would say. I mean, most of them seem harmless enough or at least I didn't end up with a knife in my ribs, just the occasional unwanted hand shake or even a hug. Another reason to wash my hair - like attracts like, right?

I heard one rumour that El Presidente Bush offered any jabbering crazy the one-way fare to California as payback on the state for being liberal and generally anti-American or something. Then again in the words of Lou Reed "Don't believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear." He also said "...you can't always trust your mother" but my mother seems pretty trustworthy so maybe I shouldn't trust Lou's pearls of wisdom. Or is my mother hiding her dark side from me? Who knows?
