As an aside, here's a musical backdrop to Australia: artists and tunes that I heard along the way, that struck a cord with me or got my foot a-tapping. When I hear them again, I'll think of big red deserts, impossibly tall trees, shark infested water (or at least my obsession with the myth), fine wines, cool southern cities and ridiculously sticky nothern towns, bus journeys that go on for ever and the friends I met and made.
